I have GAS. No, not gas from the ass. It's Gear Acquisition Sydrome, which means I buy stuff even if I don't need it or I won't use it.

That is the WeeWillDoodle Tisyu in a box. It's a tissue box designed by a group of local (Filipino) artists, as stated in the second photo. It contains a roll of tissue. Duh. It's limited edition and comes in three different colors and designs. I chose the pink one. Cause it's cute.
What the heck will I do with it?

This is just of the many things I bought due to GAS.
Don't worry. It isn't contagious.

Supposedly, all the subjects are taken with my blockmates (Block C), but since there’s been a mix up with my course, my schedule is also mixed up. I have to join three other blocks on some subjects. I have become a hybrid student once again. Almost all of my professors are girls.

I have three-hour breaks on Mondays, and an hour and a half on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I only have one class on Wednesdays and it's in the afternoon. Which means I can party on the morning of my birthday next week.

What a cool schedule.

Finally. Finally. I went out with my best friend, Claudine. The last time I saw her was on the day of our graduation. I've been out a lot, but with my family. For the past two months, not once did I go out with my friends. And since our annual outing during June 01 didn't push through, I barely remember their faces. Well, not really. I just haven't seen them in a long time.

Since MC doesn't have classes on Mondays, I asked her to come with me to school. Our high school. I wanted to talk to our yearbook moderator. I haven't been able to attend our meetings. As well as my co-representatives. Our names are wanted. We have been warned that if we do not comply the requirements deadline, we won't have a spot in the yearbook. Yay. Two other high school/ MC friends accompanied us. Krishna and Claudine were looking for a book for their Humanities class that seem to be found nowhere. They wanted to try their luck in our library. As for Gulma, their block is done with the Humanities paper and she just wanted to get out of the house. Monique was also there, so she went in with us. She's also from MC.

We had a little chitchat with almost everyone we saw. The ladyguard, students and teachers. On the way to the Visitor's Room, we passed by old friends. It was their lunch break so there were a lot of people. As I promised, we saw Kisha. Claudine hugged her while I fixed her uniform. We then met with Ms. Ovalles, the yearbook head. Seems like I'll be the only one to all the work. Great. The ghost of my unborn high school yearbook will keep on haunting me until it gets published. We also hung out in the library with the head librarian, Mrs. Orga, and talked to our Physics teacher, Mrs. Cardinoza, while waiting for the photocopies of the book. Mrs. Orga liked my yellow handbag and tried it on. You definitely get a little posh when you reach college. I used to fancy backpacks, and now I use handbags. We even hung out at Bro Ed's office. And he gave us an excuse that we can tell the guard when we come back. On our way out of his office, he shouted, "Mga baliw! Ingat!" That's why we love him so much.

After all the fuss with our school, we parted ways. Gulma and Krishna went home, Monique stayed in school, and Claudine and I went to McDo to eat and think about where we're going next. She thought of going to MC to look for the book then I'd go to Ateneo to meet up with Elisa. But since she already has the copy of the book and Elisa's break is done, we scratched the idea. Then I thought of getting a haircut. My salon was in SM Marikina. Our dilemma was how we'll get there when we're in the middle of nowhere. I proposed that we take a tric to Marquinton and from there, ride a jeep to SM. Easy. But it took us an hour to figure out cause she got used to commuting to Katipunan and I got used to commuting to Ortigas.

So, I got another haircut. My second haircut this year. What was I thinking? I was thinking of looking different on my birthday. I admit. My hair looks very scene/emo right now. I said to my stylist that I wanted lots of layers, and that's exactly what I got. Lots of layers. I can't count them. It's hard to comprehend. It's very Joan Jett/ Hayley Williams. But Claudine said that I look like Ji Hoo with my scarf and all. A little Korean too. So cool. My friends had the brilliant plan of getting together for my birthday. I'm down with that as long as they're cool with my being bankrupt. Maybe a roadtrip to Ortigas with Lj as the designated driver. Just don't make me pay for the gas. I mentioned something about bar-hopping to Claudine while we were on the jeep going home. Knowing her being semi-alcoholic, I asked her if she'd gone to Papus and she answered no. So, for her birthday on July, she's going to treat us there. Then she'll probably go back to Drews. Alcoholics unite!

Getting a haircut was my birthday gift to myself. I do that every year. That's my pre-birthday syndrome. Now you know. This blog is getting long. My chatterbox syndrome is kicking in again. Til the next misadventure. Auf wiedersehen!
